About the Item
The style of this standing desk is a mix between Japanese pagodas and modern skyscrapers.
It is an artisanal piece consisting of:
A curved top, with inlaid motifs and high-quality linoleum, a style and batten framework of classic Japanese wood joints, and eight curved drawers in floating drawer blocks.
Fully formed in a smooth curve, the furniture surrounds the user.
The floating construction of the furniture is made possible by the style and batten work at the back.
The drawers made of bamboo hang from this and support each other, giving a sense of height and space.
The drawer fronts are constructed with many different woods to form a striking color composition, the elements of bamboo, walnut, mahogany and maple are found throughout the furniture.
Overall, the desk is a unique, strikingly designed, practical and perfectly made piece of furniture.
