About the Item
This is a wonderful and rare Antique English small or diminutive Abbatant a' Secretaire or Bonheur du Jour Writing Table and is unique and wonderful. The exterior is exquisitely made from bookmatched flame or crotch mahogany with a wide banding of satinwood. The interior reveals a satinwood fitted interior with ebony stringing. The leathered writing surface has a rare gilt embossed monogram for "GW" (or "WG").
