Travertine Desk - Claude Berraldacci

About the Item

Travertine desk by Claude Berrladacci in the 90s. This desk was made in 5 copies, The stone is the purest of travertine. It comes from the Tivoli quarry near Rome, from which the Vatican buildings, the Colosseum and the Trevi Fountain are extracted. The travertine from this region is very pure, and a very light color. The stone is worked with great know-how which produces a “soft travertine”: natural and matte appearance, soft to the touch. This work highlights the mineral texture and unique color.
