Biosca, dining table, stained pine, iron, Spain, 1960s
Outstanding Spanish dining table that is executed by Biosca in an architectural way. The two bases feature a geometrical carved pattern, giving the table a graphic texture. This is very typical for Brutalist style, while the type of pattern has references to the Spanish Revival style of the 19th century. The cross stretchers provide support and add an extra dimension. The pine has a natural expression due to the visible wood grains and warm tone. An outstanding piece of furniture that deserves a prominent place in one's living room.

Biosca, set of six chairs, leather, oak, brass, Spain, 1960s
Sturdy chairs manufactured by the Spanish Biosca. These chairs are made from oak and have cognac leather seatings. The chairs have a robust look, which is emphasized by decorative brass nails that hold the leather into the wood. The nails add to the character of the chair and are very reminiscent of 18th century Spanish chairs. Moreover, the leather has beautifully aged, creating a stunning patina look. The leather shows wear due to age and use, with some marks and scratches all-over. These flaws are only attributing to its authenticity and aesthetics.
