This massive round dining table is designed by the creative Italian designer Guido Faleschini for Italian furniture company I4 Mariani. This piece of furniture truly exudes the bright and bold vibe and colorfulness of the seventies. The whole unit is wrapped in red cognac leather and supported by a geometric base of double frames placed in cross shape, which enhances the three-dimensionality of the table. The tabletop visualizes a striking pattern of a circle and lines that resemble the radiation of a sun. Furthermore, the design convinces visually through its stabile construction accomplished by the remarkable geometric shapes and round corners, and above all, the leather which has an incredibly, visual texture. Measure: 8ft.
This set of ten 'Elisa' dining chairs of Italian origin finds itself at the intersection of art and design. These wonderfully constructed chairs are based on a solid construction where clear, fluent lines are allowed to emerge in the design. Note how the backrest runs over into the front legs in a curvaceous manner. This feature serves as a shell, embracing the sitter in a graceful manner. The chairs have a fierce and strong character.
