Very nice set of old linen from the beginning of the 20th century including 24 matching napkins.
The napkins are very elegant and refined.
Beautiful set of 24 napkins all in damask linen from the 1900s.
French manual work
Magnificent linen yarn work. The damask is elegant with a pattern of foliage, roses and ears of corn. The damask gives a satin effect, very elegant. The damask pattern is very discreet while being visible. The whole is extremely delicate.
The towels are very large.
Towels are not monogrammed.
Large towels Measure 89.5cm / 72cm (35 inch / 28.35 inch)
The antique white linen gives a touch of elegance and luxury to all table decorations.

Damask is a silk fabric, monochrome, with a satin weave, characterized by a contrast of shine between the background and the design formed by the weaving.
Damask or damask is a fabric whose designs are woven and not embroidered. These two methods are not mutually exclusive. Indeed on the sheets, tablecloths and damask napkins, the monogram of the masters of the house is often embroidered.
In the case of damask and as opposed to embroidery, the designs are discreet. There can only be two colors in damask fabrics: that of the weft thread and that of the warp thread. But most damask linens and fabrics are single-colored.
