American, mid-19th century, Late Federal, American Empire flame mahogany drop-leaf dining table. Dining table is 40" deep and 25.75" wide, opening to 54.75" wide with leaves up, Table height is 28.5" with a knee clearance of 27.5". Gently refreshed original condition with some wear commensurate with age and use. Very handsome dining table for smaller spaces.
