About the Item

This live edge single slab of Western Maple tells its story in harmony with the ancient rocks and crystals at its centre. A balance of natural elements that are striking and will spark the most incredible dinner conversation. The table shown is an example. A personalized table, made to order, similar to this will take 8 - 10 weeks to create. Designers True masters have joined forces to collaborate on a series of pieces entitled 'Ancient Live Edge'. This debut piece is just the beginning for John Lore, Owner at Live Edge Design and husband and wife team, Naomi and Andreas Kunert of Ancient Art of Stone. Pictured as a dining table but could look equally dashing as a sliding barn style door. Created on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada Dimensions: 100" L x 42"-47" W x 29.5" H Each rock is selected and placed by Andreas Kunert with crystals specifically selected by Naomi Kunert. Crystal descriptions and meanings #1. Green Aventurine is a comforter and heart healer used to clear and activate the Heart Chakra for general well-being and emotional calm. Aventurine is a great stone for travellers and great to attract wealth & health into one's life. #2. “Moody” Green Serpentine makes an exceptional meditation stone. It helps you to find inner peace. Serpentine was carried in ancient Assyria to request the gods and goddesses to provide double blessings. #3. Larsonite Jasper is a petrified swamp bogwood. Geologically, petrification is most commonly caused by lava flowing over trees or trees being inundated by mud. The long hardening process turns wood into a composite of Jasper, agate and other minerals. Larsonite helps one with past life recall and in meditation. This grounding stone will allow you to connect with Earth energies and Earth healing. It will also allow access to deeply stored information (inner knowledge), which will assist in growth in the physical, mental and etheric bodies. #4.Ocean Pearl is a locally quarried stone that was originally founded by Andreas Kunert and his company K2 Stone Quarries. It is a phyllite which is a stone created under pressure underground where the tectonic plates collided. This particular stone is only found in New Zealand, Antarctica and the West Coast of Vancouver Island. #5. Chrysocolla is a very supportive goddess energy stone, that will inspire verbal expression, and will empower both men and women to communicate in a clear, loving way. It will open your throat chakra and energize the words you speak and may help you to choose the right words to speak to aid emotional healing in others. It is powerful to aid truthful and heartfelt loving communication and was historically used by the American Indian people, to bring a strengthening and calming energy. This is a teaching stone, that helps you to communicate the right words that each individual needs to hear at a given time. It is a lovely peaceful stone, that helps to motivate you to speak out, about those things that are important to you, as well as those issues that you feel others may benefit from hearing. #6. Blue Aventurine stones are crystals that contain a good amount of quartz in them, along with inclusions of various other minerals, which gives them their specific colour. They are important stones to have within your collection for quite a few reasons. One major reason is that the quartz within them gives these crystals a strong ability to amplify energy. Blue Aventurine crystal allows you to be attuned to both the throat and heart chakra making this stone a great stone to express the heart’s passions. #7. Lemurian Quartz Crystal is a type of crystal that is reputed to help you to retrieve information about the ancient civilization of Lemuria. What has been discovered by those using them, is that these crystals were left for us to use by a very advanced civilization. When you are using these stones, and you make a connection with them, you feel like you are being transported back to an ancient time. #8.
