About the Item

We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning, Mid-Century Modern, Danish Rosewood C.J Rosengaard Danish Rosewood extending dining table that seats up to eight people fully extended It is very utilitarian, starting as a four-person table, seating six with one extension leaf in and eight with two extension leaves in. The timber patina and grain are to die for, I absolutely love it The table dates to circa 1960, it is a very fine example and operates as it should do It has been deep cleaned, hand condition waxed and hand polished, there may be some light color variations in the extensions leaves as naturally they have less use, there may also be some age and use patina marks here and there as you would expect with a genuine MCM piece, I can’t see anything of note but I thought it best to say there may be some, just in case Dimensions Height:- 72.5cm Width:- 121.5cm, 171.5 one extension leaf, 222cm two extension leaves Depth:- 122cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point. This item is available for collection from our Pulborough warehouses. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
