Danish oak dining table Hans J. Wegner for Andreas Tuck, 1960s. This Danish minimalist dining table in light oak was designed by Hans J. Wegner in the 1960s. Hans J. Wegner was one of the Great Danes who had his furniture manufactured by Andres Tuck in Denmark for a long time. Andreas Tuck's most notable designer was actually Hans J. Wegner (1914-2007). This vintage table is in very good condition, without any damage. One of history's most important and influential designers, Hans J. Wegner (1914-2007) is widely seen as a driving force in Denmark's mid-century modern movement – an era that changed the way the world looked at furniture. looks forever changed. Wegner passed away in Copenhagen in 2007 at the age of 92, leaving behind a remarkable legacy of design and craftsmanship for future generations to enjoy. His designs, especially vintage Wegner chairs, fetch high prices at auction houses and are continually sought after by vintage enthusiasts and art collectors alike.
