Danish Teak Drop Leaf Extending Dining Table by Børge Mogensen for Søborg, 1950s

About the Item

1950s Danish teak drop leaf dining table designed by Børge Mogensen for Søborg Møbelfabrik. This practical dining table can seat 4 people when closed and up to 10 people when fully extended by the drop down leaves that are held in place with pull out supports. Minimal in design it has some nice subtle details such as the curved edges and contrasting beech legs with teak tips. The leaves simply unhook from the table and the legs can removed making it very easy to transport and flat pack for shipping. Extended width is 249cm (98in)
