Early 20th Century Beaux-Arts French Glass Top Dining Table
About the Item
Beaux-Arts cast bronze & wrought iron glass top dining table, French, early 20th century. Undoubtedly this was once a baker's table with a smaller marble top, now with custom thick glass top allowing the full beauty of the base to come through. Each leaf and rondel is of bronze. The fine bronze leaves encircled in a scrolled shield are cast with great detail so that both convex and concave sides are equally elegant.
