English Mahogany 1840s Oval Top Pedestal Table with Quadripod Base and Casters

About the Item

An English mahogany pedestal table from the Mid-19th Century, with oval top, cross banding, quadripod base and brass casters. Created in England during the second quarter of the 19th century, this mahogany table features an exquisite oval top adorned with a cross banded border of lighter color. The piece is raised on an elegant turned pedestal resting on four curving legs delicately carved on the surface. The table is mounted on petite brass casters and will therefore be able to be conveniently moved at will. With its elegant lines, mahogany patina and complimenting colors, this English pedestal table circa 1840 will bring an undeniable touch of elegance to any home, particularly placed in a dining room or breakfast area.
