Outstanding exhibition quality antique Victorian Italian profusely carved solid figured walnut centre/ dining table having an outstanding quality solid figured walnut top with a carved edge above a fantastic carved walnut frieze with animals, gladiators, swags, scrolls and animal heads. It is standing on solid walnut barley twist legs raised on bun feet united by exhibition quality profusely carved solid walnut shaped stretchers with scrolls, animals, swags and a fantastic vase of various fruits. The quality and craftsmanship of this table is breathtakingly astounding. Even though not marked it would have most certainly been a commissioned piece of importance by a premium maker of this period. An exceptional showpiece example in wonderful original condition and having a very desirable patination.
