About the Item
Iconic dining table of high quality workmanship, Viennese production late 1800s early 1900s in the midst of the Viennese Secession period.
The cabinet is presented with a simple and linear structure but at the same time extremely elegant and refined.
It comes from a dining room with a sideboard signed and branded Julius and Josef Herrmann (J&J Herrmann Wien), so you make it attributable to the same since the manufacturing quality and some details are also on par.
Ability to be extended with two extensions thanks to a unique and very rare mechanism.
In fact, it has two spring-loaded iron levers that act as pullers for the extensions placed under the main floor.
Brass plates lining the feet.
It also carries several numbers marked along extensions and under the top.
The table was treated with shellac, the brass polished as much as possible.
