Extraordinary Lacquered Linen Louis XVI Style Dining Table By Ron Seff Ltd.
About the Item
An exceptional design by Iconic American Designer Ron Seff who has worked with and for many of the finest American designers such as Karl Springer and Mark Hampton. His love of materials has led to designs incorporating such materials as various Metals, Mother-of-Pearl, Bone, Shagreen and many Exotic Woods. The Table with great weight and solidity can seat 12 easily.
The table is Custom and has design references to the court of Louis XVI. The top with shaped edge is Lacquered Linen in a Chocolate Brown tone and rests on a Gun Metal base with Brass accents. The Apron features inset Brass Squares and the slightly tapering Legs feature Brass Collars and foot caps. The Table can be extended to house one or both of the 24” leaves.
Dimensions: The Table closed measures 95.75” wide by 47.5” deep by 29.75” high. Two 24” Leaves are included that would extend to 120" total.
Condition: Please see detail photos. There is some slight missing finish on a few corners and light sporadic acceptable wear with some rubs to the lacquer which do not detract from the particularly refined presentation.
