French Fruitwood Extending Dining Table
About the Item
An elongated solid fruitwood extending dining table hand-crafted in 19th century France circa 1850. Beautiful wood grain, rich tones, and a range of textures give the smooth tabletop its abundant character. The sleek hand-carved apron features a single petite drawer accessed by a wooden pull. Four long tapering legs support the massive top which has two leaves on either side that slide 32 ½ inches out giving the table a total width of 138 ½”. This table adds simple elegance to any room and its great craftsmanship and functionality make it an excellent find. Be sure to view all the images for a closer look.
