A French Oval-Shaped Bleached Wood Trestle Dining Table, Mid 20th Century
About the Item
A French oval-shaped bleached oak dining table from the mid 20th century. This mid-century table from France features an oval-shaped top just over 6.75 foot long (approximately), which is presented upon trestle legs comprised of a pair of rounded pillar columns that terminate into rail-style feet on each end. A center wood stretcher runs between the trestle legs at underside of table to add additional support. The oak wood has a lightly bleached finish (and a clear matte poly for added protection) with a wash of white accentuating the top edge and various trim. The leg clearance at the overhang on each far end is 14". This mid 20th century French oval-shaped trestle table will make a beautiful dining or library table, perhaps further enhanced with one of our lovely chandeliers hanging above.
