Large antique French carved oak dining table library desk Lion Renaissance 19thc ~Direct from France~ ~A stunning 19th century French carved oak dining table, with huge, dimensionally carved LION feet!~ ~Versatile size-as presented, this piece also makes a fabulous writing desk, and does have an optional glass piece that fits the top. Additionally, it has the slide outs and support legs to support an expansion to a 12 ft. large dining table (leaves not included).~ ~Incredible detailed carving, captivating features~ ~Ornate, relief carved lion masks on the canted corners and carved French gadrooning on the wide frieze with oversized drop finials to the corners~ ~Carved on all sides, perfect for placement anywhere in a room because there's not a "back side"~ ~ Double legs on each side, having large, hand carved, baluster shape~ ~Renaissance flair and stunning hand carved lion feet~ ~Large carved stretcher provides stability and support~ ~Well built by craftsmen of the period~ ~c1880~ Measurements: 30.25” height x 57” x 39”. Table pulls out and can expand to Twelve feet if leaves are added(not included here). 24” distance from floor to lower trim (leg clearance). Glass cut to fit top is available.
