Live edge mappa Burl dining table with custom powder coated leg
About the Item
This was our first time hearing of mappa burl - our client came to us with that name asking if we could find a slab to make a dining table for them and after digging into a few of our suppliers, we came up with this spectacular piece. Raw edge slab with incredible burling, on solid steel powdercoated T legs. The client that ordered this put a glass top on it, thus leaving the cracks open, but we can of course fill the cracks with a tinted resin (which is our standard practice). Ordering a table like this depends on the availability of mappa burl which is a relatively rare slab to come up with.
The table in the image is long since sold to the client that custom ordered it. You would be custom ordering your own "version" of this table. It will arrive via freight, and we can arrange a variety of delivery options depending on how much you want to spend vs how much work you want to do setting it up!
