Mid Century Modern Walnut Dining Table by Al Huller for Furnwood Corporation
About the Item
Large, distinct and rare Mid Century Modern Walnut dining table with two leaves designed by Al Huller Furniture Company, Inc. New York, New York for Furnwood Corporation, Brockton, MA. Circa 1965. Signed with metal tag un the underside of the table. Nicely figured Walnut veneers with solid walnut edge. The table does not separate in the middle to accommodate the table extensions, but, conveniently, are placed on two extending arms on each end of the table. An angled truss support and stretcher base add strength and durability.
Overall good condition and structurally sound and sturdy construction. Some cosmetic wear consistent with age and use.
Approximately 42.25" deep x 75.25" wide x 29.5" high closed with no leaves. The approximate width with both leaves is 115.5". Approximate apron height is 26.25".
