About the Item

I design for people and my designs are to be used. In my design process, I strive to find a holistic solution; I keep reminding myself what is the purpose and what will be the experience. La Famiglia 0.2 is a sophisticated and elegant extendable dining table made to order. Hand made from European Oak; dark polished, satin brass intarsia detail inlayed along the table legs. Hand crafted by artisans. The structure is highly engineered, made from Aluminium, allows smooth opening of the extensions. The extensions are stored under the table up to 600cm, the other 2x 100cm extensions 600 and 700cm are stored separately. Designed bag and storage solution can be made to order. Price is not included The table is extendable. extensions are one meter long, reaching maximum Eight-hundred cm length Client feedback: We approached Rona when the need arose to produce an extendable dining table that can accommodate the entire family with unique dimensions so thirty people could sit comfortably around it and designed specifically to our new house. We couldn’t find what we really needed without compromising on functionality and aesthetics, so we understood it has to be tailored made for us. Such a product requires high standards and precise thinking starting from the planning stage in every aspect: engineering design, ease of use and of course visibility. Throughout the entire work with Rona we were full partners, we felt that there was a full understanding to our needs and we held frequent consultations with her. Rona demonstrated professionalism alongside creativity, thinking outside the box and an unusual design touch. In retrospect, the decision to work with her was the best we could have made.
