Modern Italian Metal and Solid Wood Table from Bontempi Casa Collection
About the Item
The timeless and iconic trestle base is the distinctive feature of Bridge table. Elegant, studied in detail, Bridge table is a fixed rectangular table great to be used as a dining table or as an executive desk. Its frame is in Dark Brass lacquered metal while its decorative details are in Aged Brass lacquered metal. The former is acquired by folding the raw material and manufacturing it to obtain the desired design It is then painted with electrostatic epoxy powder for better adherence. The powder, when baked in the oven, blends with the steel, ensuring durability over time. The latter is one of the special Bontempi finishes, a selection of fine shades, from a secret Bontempi Casa formulation. They are made manually through multiple coats of paint, for a major color depth and richness of shades. A final protective layer guarantees color long lasting. The rectangular top is in walnut solid wood. Bontempi Casa solid wood comes from precious woods. After a 6/8 month drying process, the degree of humidity is reduced to 5% to resist temperature changes. They are then cut into boards and paired to make the top. A final water-based protective treatment makes them smooth. Natural knots and differences in color testify their authenticity. The Bontempi Collection is 100% Made in Italy. Bontempi Casa is located in Camerano a village nested on the Adriatic Seaside.
