Peter Waals. An Arts & Crafts 6' figured oak refectory table, with a high stretcher uniting each end with chamfered through tenon joints. The shaped end supports resting on exaggerated tapering feet. For similar examples see 'Modern British Furniture' page 179 and 'The Studio Year Book 1928.
