Rare 17th century Swedish vernacular farmhouse dining "hedna" table with thick twin plank top and well patinated original surface. ca 1690 Sweden. Seats six people very comfortably. Literature: Sigurd Erixon, ”Möbler Och Heminredning I Svenska Bygder”, Del. 11; Pub. Nordiska Museets Forlag, Stockholm,1926. Plate Page 8, Fig.451, illustrates a similar example from Varmland, Sweden.
