A Rose Tarlow Dining table in Medium Walnut finish Starburst patter Top with one extension leaf.
Rose Tarlow is not only famous for being Oprah Winfrey's Designer, she also has the most impeccable furniture and accessories. Rose Tarlow's pieces are Hand Crafted and attention paid to every detail, from design, to build and finish, Rose Tarlow sets a very high industry standard.
The walnut top is laid out in a beautifully crafted design and the layers of finish not only make the look exceptional, but also allow for many years of wear without damage. The finish also includes, as part of the design, a patinated surface, lending to the appeal of a table that has been around for many years, not only accentuating the details, but sophistication.
The table is structurally very solid with two locks for securing when the left is not in, and four locks when the leaf is placed to extend. The piece is also very heavy, which is what one wants in a table that will be decorative and also practical.
The Regency Dining Table without extension is 60 inches diameter and by adding the extension (or Leaf) the table expands to 82". Depending on the chair used the table can easily seat from 6-10 guests. The "spider" legs are all hand honed with ribs delicately leading to the floor with a lovely brass sabot.
A compliment to many dining rooms and a wonderful center piece to any room.
