The Heritage series, created by designer Lee Jung-hoon is a collection of sculptural modern furniture. The designs are inspired by the characteristic forms, colours and appearance of traditional Korean architecture. Borrowing references from the archaic Hanok, which is the traditional Korean housing, the designer has attempted to reinterpret its beauty and vibe from a contemporary perspective.
Lee Jung-hoon is a Korean craft and furniture designer who essentially draws inspiration from Korean heritage to create contemporary sculptural pieces that embody latent symbolism and double as practically usable objects.
Tradition is a gene-like thing, which goes through evolution and degradation with the times. Although it is now a turbulent time in tradition,
the unique gemstones inside of it remain unchanged. he wants to discover and explore these stones to find the formation that
encompasses tradition and modern times.
He is working on finding new types of furniture and decorations under the theme of Korean tradition, and at the same time wants to design
the furniture that society needs today.

Galerie Philia
Galerie Philia is an international contemporary sculptural design and art gallery representing emerging and established designers and artists. The gallery is the brainchild of two brothers who share a lifetime passion for art, literature and philosophy. Their distinct academic background sets them apart from their peers, as it sees them following a rhizomatic and transcultural approach in the way they select works. This involves combining elements from multiple cultures in what becomes a network of harmoniously interconnected roots, ultimately revealing the beauty of each unique creation. The gallery’s non-hierarchical curation sits apart from the ephemerality of trends and focuses instead on the true aesthetic quality of the piece – alluring and timeless. Unlike others, Galerie Philia does not focus on a single style – whether minimalist, organic or raw – but rather embraces heterogeneity. The Galerie Philia takes pride in discovering new talents, providing them with multiple international platforms to showcase their latest creations. As well as propelling the newest generation of 21st century collectible design, Galerie Philia also works with internationally known design artists. Galerie Philia has a strong international presence, with galleries in Geneva, New York and Singapore. In addition to their permanent spaces, the gallery organizes temporary group exhibitions and artists residencies in first-class locations around the world.

- Giovanni Offredi Sunny Round Pedestal Table in Wood and Glass by Saporiti 1970sBy Giovanni Offredi, SaporitiLocated in Montecatini Terme, ITSunny pedestal table with a structure in wood and a round-shaped tabletop in smoked glass, designed by Giovanni Offredi and manufactured by Saporiti during the 1970s. Giovanni Offredi was a prominent Italian furniture and product designer of the second half of the 20th century. As opposed to most of the other Italian furniture designers of his time, Giovanni Offredi was not an architect, nor did he start designing early in his professional career. Instead, Offredi partially fits the career path of some of the talented contemporary designers who pursue product design outside of formal education in architecture. The earliest furniture design work known by Giovanni Offredi consists of exemplary furnishings made specifically for some of wealthy families in Milan. Such is the case of the works done by Offredi for Casa C., in 1960, in Gorgonzola, a small town 14 miles from Milan. These works were designed with a surprisingly minimal simplicity and elegance, and they also clearly display a hallmark of his design work with the use of angular lines and exposed metal or wood frames—not unlike some of the modern Scandinavian designs of the time. In the late 1960s, Giovanni Offredi met Sergio Saporiti, the owner of an Italian design shop and furniture maker Saporiti, and in 1970, Offredi formalized a partnership with the furniture maker. This partnership would be long and successful and resulted in many furniture designs of distinct precision that were clearly modern and innovative and that went on to enjoy considerable commercial success. The most prominent furniture designs that Offredi made for Saporiti include the Paracarro table...Category
