About the Item

Vintage Danish mid-century modern, made in the 1950's - Recently refurbished The piece is more than 65+ years old and some wear and tear can be expected, but we do everything we can to refurbish them in respect to the design. There is a science behind Danish Modern design. The world famous school of design in Copenhagen have made numbers of studies from the perfect height of a chair to how deep a cabinet should be. Original Danish Modern designs made in the 1950’s-60’s and feature classic mid-century designs and craftsmanship. We personally refurbish all the teak and rosewood pieces in our workshop in Jersey City. We source all our products from private homes in Denmark. Our owner Lars, travels across his native country, knocking on doors, meeting people on the street, going to markets and building a network of personal sellers. We keep everything original and don't modify the design.

Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. Good vintage condition. The wood have been cleaned up and oiled. The mirror is in great shape, but might have minor spots or areas with fog. Nothing that effects the functionality.
