These 3/8” thick hot-rolled steel legs are not symmetrical but rather slightly offset to deliver tension between the fore and aft ends. Designer Kirk Van Ludwig chooses metal plate that has natural patina during the rolling process, showing hints of mill scale and deep colour revealing depth and story, inspired by massive ocean freightliners.
