Tuscan Renaissance Style Dining Table, Custom-Made by Petersen Antiques
About the Item
This massive banquet table is very impressive, made in solid walnut with inlaid tiger maple. This table captures the feel of the Renaissance with its superb hand-carved legs, inlaid pattern and molded edges. The sturdy extension mechanism allows the table to be expanded from 140" to 164" by inserting two 12" wide leaves that fit hand-in-glove. The Tuscan Renaissance character is enhanced by the hand planed surface, rich satin finish and subtle distress. The fiery tiger maple inlay is 1/4 inch deep! No veneer here!
Because each table is bench-made in our own Los Angeles workshop you can influence all aspects of design, including size, wood species and finish. We use only traditional carpentry techniques, no nails or metal fasteners of any kind, just mortise and tenon construction reinforced with hand-cut wooden dowels.

Petersen Antiques
Established in 1989 and a 1stdibs dealer since 2005, Petersen Antiques is a beautiful mixture of antique and custom-made furniture, art, and tapestries.
