About the Item
XYZ is a a honeycomb steel dining table that born from the idea of ??aesthetically combining 2D and 3D dimensions.
In this table the two-dimensional surface of the top joins the three-dimensionality of the feet, giving life to a light and minimal table, which occupies the space without filling it.
The feet, lightened by their weight (emptied of their volume), are simple lines, their emptiness gives depth and breadth to the space, creates ever-changing perspectives and supports the top, which appears to float by optical effect.
The feeling of lightness is the quality of XYZ and of the whole “Iron Wire” collection, whose leitmotif is the play of geometries created by the very thin metal squares.
In addition to the classic black and white versions, you can choose a more fun solution from our three color combinations.
The particular combinations of pastel colors combined with pure colors, studied by our designers, highlight the contrast between feet and top even more, accentuate the idea of ??lightness and give the environment an original freshness and liveliness.

Marco Ripa
Marco Ripa is a craftsman and designer. Through it he produces unique and bespoke minimal furniture pieces in iron and steel.
Born in 1977, at the age of 15 Marco entered the workshop to learn the craft of an artisan. He chose iron as his signature metal because it’s dirty, noisy and rejects repetition.
His metal takes shape, colour and balance inspired by the American sculpturer Calder. Building on Ruskin's philosophy in the Arts and Crafts Movement Marco believes that a man is as unique and unrepeatable as the objects he makes. At the age of 33 Marco founded his own laboratory for the manufacture of iron and steel.
