This is an antique Sutherland table. An English, burr walnut gate-leg oval occasional table, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850.
Rich in colour and exuding fine craftsmanship
Displays a desirable aged patina and in very good order
Superb burr walnut stocks present a fine grain interest
Warm caramel hues beam beneath a wax polish finish
Extending to useful breakfast table or tea service proportion
Substantial drop leaves extend the seating area into a generous oval for four
