Very Rare and Fine 19th Century Irish Hunt Table

About the Item

A very rare and fine 19th century Irish mahogany hunt table, fabulously hand carved and with beautifully rich patination and grain. This very fine, well constructed piece is fully restored, in exceptional condition and seats up to eight people comfortably. The well figured, shaped and moulded top of rectangular form with curved ends is flanked with twin D-shaped drop leaves to either side and raised over simple frieze, supported on marlborough legs with additional gate leg supports. Mahogany Type: ‘Santos Mahogany Leaves Down Depth: 20.25 in / 51.4 cm.
