19th Century French Renaissance Revival Library Table ~ End Table
About the Item
19th Century French Renaissance Revival Library Table ~ End Table will introduce a splendid masculine air to your room. Fitted with solid oak planks on top with beveled edges and mitered corners, it is supported by an apron carved all around with elongated egg motif enhanced with acanthus flourishes. On each corner appears lion's heads in full relief holding brass rings in their mouths, transitioning to the exquisitely carved urn form pedestal style legs, complete with corbels carved to depict acanthus plumes projecting out from each side just under the lions' heads. Hand-carved from dense, old-growth oak, its finish has been painstakingly stripped by our expert in-house staff to reveal the sheer natural beauty and patina of the wood, creating a soft visual texture that blends with a wide variety of decors.
