Each piece is built to order one at a time by master craftspeople in our shop in Albuquerque, NM, and assembled to respect the character of the individual pieces of wood. This elegant Plume Side Table is made out of solid white ash hardwood that has been charred black with fire, scrubbed to remove the ash, and sealed with a hand rubbed oil finish. This process leaves a black that’s deeper and has more character than a strain and that also exposes the texture of the wood giving it a delightful sensory and tactile quality.
