Custom Solid Aluminum CC Table from Porch Modern

About the Item

CC1 & CC2 Tables became an idea to provide a solution to a simple problem. “Where to put my drink?” A small table was needed to fill a space and ultimately be usable with the smallest footprint at top and bottom. A moveable, minimalist usable sculpture looks striking when in use or not. As the table is milled from a raw solid billet of aluminum (others materials possible including brass and copper) a continuous clean line is created. Rather than a bulky, difficult to manoeuvre table that collects clutter, the CCTABLE can be utilized as both a table surface and when flipped over can be a modernist vase. A slight suggestion of an edge is just thick enough to be useful as a base and to hold your drink or sculpture in place. The CCTABLE is only in service to one item . No room to drop and forget junk. A sculpture stand, drink holder, flower vase. Most anything placed on the hand milled surface looks like art. As it should be. Why live with anything that is not beautiful, elegant, and ultimately useable. CCTABLES can be produced in any diameter and height needed. Completely customizable and scaleable depending on the installation. These can be grouped in various heights, diameters, and uses as needed. Finitely beautiful and endlessly useful. CC1 Table is a table only CC2 Table is a double sided table/vase. Created form a single solid piece of aluminum, the CCTABLE is the ultimate in minimalist design. With a nod to Donald Judd and the minimalist movement, these pieces are stripped to the simplest design, material , and handwork to create. The examples pictured are approximately 22” high, 4.25” and 5” in diameter. The smaller vase example is 15” tall and 4.5” in diameter. Solid copper and solid brass examples can be created at your request.
