Neoclassical Lyre Table, Sweden 1935
About the Item
A very sturdy and well balanced end table. The classical form of the lyre complete with cast brass strings rests on a solid pedestal evocative of antiquity. This veneered table would have been used in the parlor to store sewing and related supplies to use when passing time with family or friends.
