Pair of Petrified Wood Tables with Chrome-Plated Steel Base

About

A pair of modern style "desert sand" colored end or side table tops fitted into custom-made X-shaped chrome-plated steel bases. The tables features high quality polished 2" thick petrified wood top, preserved bark wood aspect on the edges and wood inner structure in its center. Petrified wood is essentially a tree that time (millions of years ) has very slowly turned into stone. The colors are reflecting the minerals (e.g. iron, manganese.) present during the petrification process. It is a hard (same as quartz) and heavy mineral that can reveal gorgeous colors after polishing.
