A solid oak dining table for the discerning client. The hand carved soft curves lend an air of subtility to this incredibly strong, rectangular dining table. The legs flow into arched forms that are all connected to the table top to act as one, allowing for stability against lateral movement and averting any possibility of warping with changes in humidity. Made from the best quality PEFC certified French Oak sustainably sourced from our local supplier, originating from farmed forests specifically grown for use in woodworking industries. We choose each plank of rough timber specifically for each project, carefully selecting according to grain pattern and shape. These are worked using a combination of woodworking machines and hand tools, taking care to protect the best aspects of the wood so that each furniture piece is unique and to the highest standard. Once each design has been realised, the wood is then treated with a hard wearing non-toxic matte hard wax, protecting the wood from stains and enriching it to bring out the natural brown hues.
