Rare Pair of Louis XVI Style Mounted Parquetry Gueridons
About the Item
A rare pair of Louis XVI style gilt-bronze mounted parquetry gueridons.
Each table has a pierced gilt-bronze vitruvian scroll gallery with an inset grey marble top above a parquetry trellis frieze containing a drawer. The gueridon is raised on four square section crossbanded tapering legs with gilt-bronze bell flower mounts and united by a circular parquetry undertier with corresponding pierced gilt-bronze gallery.
