About the Item
Kitchen Island? Old Irish Store or Shop Cabinet with (15) large individual Drawers. In Ireland and England, they might have called this Old Stripped Pine Cabinet a Shop Fitting, or Bank of Drawers and we might refer to it as a Store Counter, or Industrial Pine Cabinet, whatever you choose, it could easily be converted into a Great Country Style Kitchen Island. The drawer bottoms have been replaced and should you decide to use this Old Country Pine Cabinet as a Kitchen Island, we could fabricate a matching back panel made from reclaimed pine. One of the nicest parts of this Old Irish Pine Shop Cabinet is that the (15) Drawers are of a usable size, for so many of these Old Multi-Drawer Store Counters have worthless tiny drawers that only look nice and really do not function worth a darn.

On top of getting the height spot-on, they had to have known how popular the Gustavian Grey or French Putty Grey would become 100-years later.
