Mid-Century Modern Nesting Coffee Tables, Wood and Glass, Living Room Decorative
About the Item
Offered for sale is a beautiful set of two nesting coffee tables, crafted from solid wood (most likely walnut) with lightly smoked glass tops. The design, essential yet refined, reminds pieces created during the sixties by Gianfranco Frattini and other designers, and produced - amongst others - by famed furniture maker Cassina in norhern Italy.
Their origin is almost certainly Italian, and the details make them stand out as very elegant pieces. The design is absolutely timeless, with the glass top seamlessly integrating with the wooden frame, the bevelled corners of the legs and the overall composition. When stacked, the two tables almost seem to be a unique element.
They are preserved in great conditions, with minor signs of use throughout and an even and pleasant patina throughout. They are perfectly stable.
