About the Item
Beautiful modern set of three nesting tables in rosewood. The legs are in solid rosewood and the tops in rosewood veneer.
The tables have the shape of the letter "C" characteristic of the Danish manufacturer "Salin Møbler" located in the town of Nyborg.

Great Danish cabinetmakers and designers of the 20th century have designed for "Salin Møbler" since the 1960s, such as Kai KRISTIANSEN.
Throughout his career, he has designed numerous pieces: desks, tables, enfilades, chairs...
The majority of his creations are in teak or rosewood. They are known for their great flexibility since they can allow several functions at the same time.
His most famous creation is the FM shelving system.
Kai Kristiansen was born in Denmark. He studied cabinet making and graduated in 1948. He then entered the Danish Academy of Fine Arts.
He founded his own design studio and designed furniture that was produced by major Scandinavian publishers such as Fritz Hansen, Salin Møbler ...
Unfortunately in 2009, the recession, the financial crisis and the lack of liquidity push the family business Salin Møbler to file for bankruptcy.
