Art Nouveau Bentwood Pedestal Mahogany Look, Austria, circa 1900
About the Item
Lovely Art Nouveau Bentwood Pedestal from the period in Austria around 1900. Beautifully made of bentwood, this unique pedestal impresses with three slim columns on an octagon base. In the middle floats a small triangular compartment. The whole pedestal has been stained to a dark mahogany look. The round top plate has a diameter of 5.5" and offers the perfect spot for a cachepot or displaying a bust or sculpture.
