Georgian Style Directors Twin Pedestal Walnut Desk with Green Leather Top
About the Item
We are delighted to offer for sale this Lovely Yew Wood Georgian Style Directors Twin Pedestal Desk.
The desk still has the original aged inlaid green leather top with lovely golden embossing. Circa 1970s in the Georgian style. It still has its original brass handles, which look stunning.
The desk serves double-sided drawers; at the front of the desk are nine drawers. At the back are three top drawers and two doors with compartments. For easy excess into any room, the desk separates into three pieces, as seen in the last picture. When the desk is built, the top falls into place and does not move from the pedestals, only when lifted off.
We have lightly restored this by cleaning, hand waxing, and polishing the desk. Condition-wise, there will be some aged-related marks on the leather; please look carefully at the pictures. Also, age-related marks of honest use around the middle of the pedestal area.
