An antique French candle stand (or ‘torchère‘), in elaborately carved, gilded wood. This impressive Napoleon III period column pedestal support three features delicately carved feet encrusted with leaves and flowers, while the top is encircled by carved hearts. In excellent condition keeping with its age.
