Designed by important Chicago interior architects Powell/ Kleinschmidt, this pedestal was fabricated for an custom interior and is made in the form of a I-beam. This is a design which they have executed in several commissions over the years in a range of shapes and sizes as needs dictated. Beautiful in its minimal elegance, the pedestal is also capable of supporting a very heavy artwork or object while remaining visually light.
