18th Century Louis XV Country French Side Table
About the Item
An 18th century Louis XV Country French side table or nightstand made of solid cherry, with open niche and pierced quatrefoil shape cut-outs on the sides and back. Small dovetailed side drawer. Scalloped apron and gallery. Slender curved legs ending in small scroll toes. A sturdy, well-crafted table using dovetailed and pegged construction. Waxed finish. Circa 1760-1780.
