A round side or gueridon table by axel Larsson for Svenska Möbelfabrikerna Bodafors in birch, Sweden circa 1940.
This model “1504” table was part of the 1936 “Fritiden” exposition in Ystad, Sweden. Fully refinished.
Axel Larsson (1898-1975was a Swedish interior designer working mostly for Svenska Möbelfabrikerna and Bodafors (SMF). Various of his designs were exhibited at the 1930 stockholm exhibition which got him many important commissions such as the park avenue hotel and the concert hall in Goteborg.
