1940s Italian Circular Stained Walnut, Bronzed Glass & Brass Side End Table
About the Item
A beautiful organic 1940s Italian circular stained walnut side table with a bronzed glass inset table top and brass base. The replacement bronzed mirror is inset into the table top wooden edged frame which is secured onto an organic shaped pedestal base with its warm wood stained finish which contrasts against the brass banding adorning the outside of the circular base. The pedestal top is secured in place with a wooden cross underneath which makes it easy to remove for transportation and storage purposes. The aged patina of the brass is set beautifully against the dark brown/red stain of the wood. In good vintage condition with some wear commensurate with its age. A perfect table to be positioned between two armchairs or perhaps to work at with a laptop and to display your objet which will reflect off the mirror. As you can see from the images where I've placed an Italian Murano glass vase.
I have been unable to source the maker/designer but the table is in the style of Borsani or Fontana Arte.

- Condition:Replacements made: The bronzed mirror was missing which was replaced. This could also be substituted with marble if you require or a different colour of glass. It easily lifts out and drops in. It is not secured in the table but sits within the wooden frame. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor structural damages. Minor fading.
